The CODISSIA Defence Innovation and Atal Incubation Centre (CDIIC) and the Indian Army will organise in Coimbatore on May 28 and 29 the “Southern Star Army Academia Industry Interface”.

The "Southern Star Army Academia Industry Interface" (S2A212) and the Center for Defense Innovation and Industry Collaboration (CDIIC) are initiatives aimed at fostering collaboration between the military, academia, and industry to promote indigenous defense technology and self-reliance in defense production. The S2A212 event, organized by the Regional Technology Node (RTN) of the Southern Command in collaboration with the Army Institute of Technology, focuses on the transformation to Atmanirbhar Bharat in defense technology. The event includes seminars and exhibitions, showcasing upcoming technological trends in the defense arena and promoting tangible interaction with academia and industry to develop indigenous defense technology. On the other hand, the Codissia Defense Innovation and Incubation Centre (CDIIC) is a key contributor to the Southern Defence Corridor, enabling the MSMEs of the region to become import substitution partners to the armed forces. CDIIC is partnering with the Indian Army to organize the prestigious "Southern Star Army Academia Industry Interface – S2A2I2" at Coimbatore on the 28th & 29th May 2024. This event aims to identify existing problems in the defense sector and find solutions to overcome them, encouraging industries of Coimbatore to enhance Research & Development for defence related equipment to mutually benefit and fulfil the dual need of National Security & Indian defence forces.

These initiatives emphasize the importance of academia in developing next-generation defense technologies and the role of industry in supporting the Indian Army's technological needs, ultimately striving towards self-reliance in defense production.

ஆலம் விழுதுகள்

Oh, the mighty Baniyan tree! It's not just any ordinary tree; it's a symbol of unity, power, and eternal life, at least according to the good folks in Bali. This tree is so majestic, it's like the king of the forest, reigning supreme over its subjects with its sprawling branches and aerial roots that look like they're reaching out to give the world a big, leafy hug. But wait, there's more! The Baniyan tree is also a symbol of the eternal cycle of death and rebirth. It's like the tree version of a phoenix, rising from the ashes to start anew. And let's not forget about its spiritual significance. In Hindu mythology, the Baniyan tree is believed to provide the fulfillment of wishes and provide material gains. It's like the tree is saying, "Make a wish, and I'll make it happen...well, within reason, of course." So, the next time you see a Baniyan tree, take a moment to appreciate its grandeur and the rich history and symbolism that it represents. It's not just a tree; it's a symbol of unity, power, and the eternal cycle of life.

Say no to fragile Bones. sarcopenia and osteoporosis. This two terms are important to maintain good bone health and healthy life.

Visit buildbetterbones.org and worldosteoporosisday.org to know more about bone health

First and foremost, let's talk calcium. You know, that mineral that makes up a significant portion of your bones and teeth? Yeah, that one. To keep your calcium levels high, you might want to consider foods like kale, turnip greens, and Chinese cabbage. If you're not a fan of leafy greens, don't worry; you can always turn to fortified foods like orange juice and plant milks, or even canned sardines and salmon with bones. And if you're feeling adventurous, why not try a delicious bone broth? Just remember, moderation is key, as too much calcium can lead to kidney stones and other health issues.

Next up, vitamin D. This little guy helps your body absorb calcium, so it's pretty important for bone health. You can get your daily dose of vitamin D from sunlight, fatty fish, and fortified foods. But if you're like me and prefer to avoid the sun's harmful rays, you can always opt for a vitamin D supplement. Just make sure to consult with your healthcare provider before starting any new supplements.

Now, let's talk about protein. It's not just for building muscle, you know. Protein is essential for bone health as well. So, make sure to include plenty of lean meats, fish, beans, and nuts in your diet. And if you're a vegetarian or vegan, fear not! You can still get your protein fix from tofu, tempeh, and legumes.

Last but not least, don't forget about magnesium and vitamin K. These two nutrients play a crucial role in bone health, and you can find them in leafy greens, nuts, seeds, and whole grains. So, go ahead and indulge in that avocado toast or that quinoa salad. Your bones will thank you.

In conclusion, a diet rich in calcium, vitamin D, protein, magnesium, and vitamin K is the key to maintaining strong and healthy bones. So, go forth and eat your way to a robust skeleton.
